Lead Linux Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of Linux servers based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server as well as the Kubernetes platform with SUSE Rancher/RKE2
Automation of platform operations with Ansible, Infrastructure as Code and AWX as well as continuous optimisation of existing operational processes
Setup and support of CI/CD pipelines on Forgejo including technical support for application and development teams
Ensuring stable 7x24 operation with monitoring, 2nd-level support as well as planning and execution of updates, upgrades and release changes
Implementation of security measures such as OS hardening and vulnerability remediation as well as management of accounts, certificates and secrets; participation in on-call duty
Qualifications:
Technical education at technical college, university of applied sciences, university or ETH level or equivalent professional experience
Several years of experience in operating Linux and Kubernetes in critical 7x24 environments
Very good knowledge of Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and DevOps
Knowledge of platform security, networking, load balancing, DNS, firewalls and highly available systems; ITIL or technical certifications are an advantage
German C2, English B2, French is an advantage
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
