Role:
As a Senior IT System Engineer, you take responsibility for the stable operation and continuous development of complex system landscapes. You analyse existing infrastructures, identify optimisation potentials, and implement technical improvements purposefully. In close collaboration with internal departments, you ensure high service quality and contribute your expertise to strategic IT projects. Your technical judgement and structured approach significantly support the professional management of demanding IT environments. You actively design solutions that promote both security and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- You operate and monitor the IT infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud
- In this role, you take responsibility for change, incident, and problem management at 2nd and 3rd level
- As an IT System Engineer, you ensure the availability, stability, and security of the systems
- You work closely with external partners and suppliers to optimise IT services
- Together with application managers, you provide technical support for business-critical specialist applications
- You independently implement IT projects – from planning to successful implementation
Qualifications:
- You have completed vocational training in the IT field, ideally supplemented by specialised further education at HF or FH level
- You have extensive professional experience as a Senior IT System Engineer and are familiar with complex infrastructures
- Your comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft environment enables you to confidently handle modern system solutions
- You have successfully implemented numerous demanding IT projects and bring project management experience
- IT security is not just a duty but a passion for you – you recognise risks early and develop appropriate protective measures
- Analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent working style are among your strengths
