Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)

You ensure the IT infrastructure operation at all locations and are responsible for servers, network, storage, backup, and cloud
You operate and further develop Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint as well as modern digital workplace solutions
You are responsible for IT security in the infrastructure environment and lead the IT system engineering team with 4 employees both professionally and personally
You coordinate external service providers, analyse complex faults, and take on the technical escalation point
You plan infrastructure and modernisation projects, maintain the operating documentation, and support the IT manager in architecture, technology, and investment decisions
Qualifications:
You have training as an IT specialist and at least 10 years of professional experience as a system engineer
You have sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, and client management
You have very good knowledge of networking, virtualisation, backup, and IT security as well as experience with complex IT infrastructures
Ideally, you bring experience in leading employees and external service providers and think entrepreneurially and service-oriented
You communicate very well in German and well in English
