Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of our growth, we are looking for an experienced professional in the field of generators and electromechanical equipment for hydropower plants at the Vienna location. In this role, you support new construction and modernisation projects at home and abroad and take on a central function in the technical supervision of our projects.
Your Profile- You prepare technical specifications and tender documents for generators, excitation and protection systems as well as associated auxiliary systems.
- You conduct plant and site inspections and develop technical recommendations for new construction and refurbishment projects.
- You evaluate technical and commercial offers from suppliers and manufacturers.
- You review technical documents such as drawings, calculations as well as operating and maintenance documentation.
- You monitor project progress, quality and deadlines and support the optimisation of project processes.
- You participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site inspections.
- You coordinate collaboration with customers, suppliers and other project participants.
- You handle technical deviations and assist in finding solutions.
- You have a completed degree (Master, University of Applied Sciences or equivalent) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.
- You have several years of professional experience in the field of generators and electromechanical equipment for hydropower plants.
- You have knowledge of excitation and protection systems; experience with pumped storage power plants and variable speed plants is an advantage.
- You have experience in new construction and/or refurbishment projects.
- You communicate confidently in German and English, both spoken and written.
- You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
- You appreciate working in interdisciplinary teams and convince through your communication skills.
- You are willing to travel occasionally at home and abroad.
