Join us as Claim & Contract Manager to support our project execution within the HUB Europe High Voltage with focus on Gas Insulated Switchgears. With analytical, hands-on and autonomous approach, you contribute to the successful performance of Contract cycle and relevant claim strategy. Your responsibilities

• Performing the overall analysis of incoming claims (Customers, Suppliers/Subcontractors and Consortium Partners), development of defense strategies, preparing response/correspondences, counterclaims, and related;
• Performing the overall identification of opportunities for outgoing claims (Customers, Suppliers/Subcontractors and Consortium Partners), developing claim strategies, preparing notifications/correspondence and related documentation;
• Performing the preparation and conduction of risks and opportunities analysis/presentations, preparation of strategy papers, definition of overall project claim strategies;
• Conducting contract and claims negotiations and settlements together with the project manager;
• General advice and pro-active support to project management, site management, procurement/supply department and other project team members in the execution of Customer Contracts, Consortium Agreements, Subcontracts/Supply contracts to secure Hitachi Energy’s contractual rights and entitlements;
• Preparation of project related amendments, change orders and other contract related documents;
• Lessons Learned during the project execution to be transferred into the tendering phase;

Your background

• Degree in Engineering, Law or equivalent;
• Experience of minimum 5 years in Project Execution of EP/EPC energy projects or similar industrial plants and solid experience in Contract Management;
• Experience in working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners;
• Solid experience in change management, claim management and contract-related issues and the possible effects in the relevant areas of responsibility regarding project execution;
• Experience in working in a multicultural environment and intercultural awareness;
• Systematic and structured work style;
• Ability to negotiate in English and German language. Any other language an advantage.
