The company is growing very fast, and we have many big and exciting projects coming. In this context we are looking for an Operations Intern to support our cross-department activities.


About the role :

As part of the Operations team, and supported by the Operations Manager, your mission will be to coordinate the execution of projects throughout the full project life cycle from initiation to retrospective. You will mainly manage cross departments initiatives with tangible impact on process optimization. You will be the point of contact of internal and external stakeholders, will be in charge of the day-to-day coordination.

Your main abilities include excellent communication and people skills as you will be the interface between departments in the company, suppliers and/or consultants. You are a problem solver relying on your strong analytical skills. You are always on the move, never waiting for answers but acting for moving forward.

The role is based in Lausanne, reporting to the Operations Manager. This position is an opportunity for you to benefit from a high level of learning on several topics such as Project Management, Process Management, Information Security Management and Data Protection.

It's also the opportunity to work closely with the C-level of the company.

Supported at each step by your manager, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Support daily Operations:

  • Work together with the Operations Manager and C-level individuals to organize workshops and meetings to drive company's strategy map and ensure the involvement of each department to reach our strategic OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
  • Prepare and implement the configuration of new features in our internal tools such as CRM or ESM.

2. Support Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with teams such as Commercial, Marketing, Partnership, HR or Finance to raise and support new initiatives.
  • Participate in the writing of new procedures to improve our cross-functional efficiency.

3. Support the Project Management Office

After receiving internal training on Project  Management, you will Provide support to project managers, ensuring the successful execution of each phase their projects.

4. Support the Information Security Management and Data Protection activity:

After receiving internal training Information Security and Data Protection  Regulation , you will be able to assist the Operations Manager in:
  • Maintaining our level of compliance and ensuring its continuous improvement.
  • Managing collaboration with our external agency.
  • Organizing the meetings and next steps.
  • Ensuring smooth internal communication and respect of the rules.
  • Answering our clients' security assessments.

Requirements

Who we are looking for  :

  • You are about to graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  •  You are attracted to Scale'up environments, and you want to make a difference in a fast-growing organization.
  • You are entrepreneurially minded, never waiting for answers but acting for moving forward.
  • You are a critical thinker and quick learner with excellent attention to detail.
  • Native/bilingual or full professional proficiency in French and English.
  • You look for a long-term position, not only a 6 months internship.
