CONTEXT & MISSION:
In order to accelerate the business development in Travel Retail Europe, we are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive Travel Retail for a 9-month fixed-term contract !
In this role, you will provide operational support to a Key Account Manager in driving business with Top Accounts by collaborating with all the departments involved (Field Supervisors, Marketing, Demand Planning) and also partner essentially with Category Managers and Supply Chain planners within our clients' organization.
The position is based in Plan-les-Ouates (near Geneva) and reports to the Key Account Manager Travel Retail (KAM).
1. Assortment Management - 25%
- Prepare and update client assortment files: product listings, product data sheets, price lists, novelty integration, and FIFO management
- Coordinate and compile the product listing process among internal regions (US, ME, APAC)
- Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, demand planning, customer service) the alignment on assortment and product availability
- Propose and send a monthly newsletter to regional clients to highlight new launches, bestsellers & key commercial updates
- Organize the timely dispatch of samples, pre-series, new products and any promotional materials needed to support business growth
2. Customer Order & Stock Management - 20%
- Monitor sales and out-of-stock situations to recommend replenishment and proactively push order quantities based on sell-out performance
- Conduct weekly calls with the client to push the quantities according to the promotional & novelty calendar
- Inform internal departments (field managers, demand planning, marketing) of promotional activity
3. Business Analysis & Reporting - 20%
- Provide monthly sales performance analysis (sell-in/sell-out) to support KAM and Field Managers, identifying risks and growth opportunities
- Together with KAM, manage and track client-related budgets (staffing, space rentals, decorations, GWP, and promotional actions)
- Support KAM during quarterly business reviews and annual negotiations with clients
4. Commercial Administrative Support - 20%
- Create purchase orders (POs) and follow up on supplier invoices using internal finance systems
- Accurately maintain financial tracking tools to ensure transparency and budget control (Expenses Follow Up)
- Ensure all commercial expenses and invoice processes are properly documented and aligned with company policies
- Work with Accounting, Customer Service and KAMs to manage and resolve client claims and disputes
5. Trade Marketing - 15%
- Coordinate commercial animation plans (permanent and promotional) in partnership with marketing, concept, and field teams
- Manage delivery of marketing assets (images, videos, packshots, press kits) to ensure premium visibility on client and partner platforms
- Assist KAMs with planning, budgeting and execution of WHS promotional strategies
H OW YOU CAN FIT:
- Degree in Business Administration or similar;
- +3 years in a similar position in the Travel Retail industry ideally or Wholesale in an international environment (experience within the beauty industry is also a strong asset);
- Fluent in English and French;
- Proficient with Microsoft tools especially Excel;
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong affinity for business analysis and reporting;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize
- Highly autonomous team player and quick learner with a positive and problem solving attitude;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships at all levels and across functions;
- Appetite for change and challenges and at ease in an international environment with remote & multicultural teams.
