ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB
The Regional Road Safety Manager has overall responsibility for ensuring compliance to safety regulations for all DCs in his relevant region and vehicles owned, leased or contracted and operated under Coca Cola HBC’s trademark. S/he works with transportation and fleet teams to develop Coca Cola HBC safety Strategy and improvement plans in order to achieve sustainable safety excellence by reducing injuries as measured in the core KPIs.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that Coca Cola HBC's safety programs are being developed and implemented across all vehicles and PITs in the relevant region
- Make sure that all Coca Cola HBC’s safety standards & guidelines are followed, and all updates are cascaded
- Ensure that Defensive Driving training and refresher program and in-cabin assessment is implemented according to the road safety program
- Initiate and regularly review risk assessments in relevant DCs and evaluating the potential hazards detected and suitable measures planned & implemented
- Coordinate and follow the training programs for drivers, employees and third parties to maintain an appropriate level of safety knowledge and awareness
- Take the lead in investigating road safety incidents and ensure that correct root causes are identified, and suitable countermeasures are planned and implemented
- Perform driver road checks of driver performance
- Ensure that vehicles management system is implemented and liaise with fleet team on maintenance and safety issues
- Monitor and evaluate the road hazards communication process with drivers
- Conduct audits on all relevant DCs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and Coca Cola HBC standards
- Engage with Engineering teams in new projects and modification programs in relevant DCs and ensuring that safety regulations are in place and followed
- Provide various reports and analyzing safety trends
ARE THSES YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 6-10 years of work experience in similar field
- Effective team player with leadership skills
- Conflict management skills
- Good observation and auditing skills
- Experience in Supply Chain operations
- FMCG experience is preferred
