The Basketball Champions Leagues is a professional pan European Basketball Competitions created and managed by FIBA since 2016. The Operations Associate will join a team of 12 and report to the Senior Operations Manager.
The Operations Associate plays a key role in supporting season readiness, event delivery, and clubfacing operational processes across the competition lifecycle. This role provides both administrative
and operational support to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality execution.
A hands-on, high-impact role at the heart of competition operations — driving smooth season delivery,
elevating club experience, and powering flawless event execution.
1 - Key Responsibilities / Competition Cycle
Season Preparation & Operational Readiness
• Support the end-to-end season preparation process.
• Guide clubs through the Registration Platform, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Administer VM-related documentation, including contracts and additional required forms.
• Boost the quality and efficiency of workshops through proactive logistical support.
• Provide organizational and administrative support on TV Operations delivery.
• Refresh and maintain all competition documentationand manuals.
Game Day Operations
• Be on the front line of game day operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
• Support sponsorship implementation, including monitoring and reporting of on-site assets.
• Participate in club visits to strengthen relationships and support operational excellence.
2 – Key Responsibilities / Major Events & Final Stages
(Final Four, Intercontinental Cup, Qualifiers, Youth BCL)
Event Coordination
• Play a central role in the coordination and delivery of marquee events.
• Act as a key point of contact for the Host, ensuring alignment across all operations.
• Organize site visits, prepare insightful reports, and track action items.
• Support the full spectrum of ticketing and accreditation processes.
• Organize staff logistics , including transportation, accommodation, and meals.
• Provide operational support for ticketing and accreditation processes .
Team Services
• Serve as the operational backbone for participating teams throughout their journey.
• Coordinate team site visits and operational inspections.
• Manage all touchpoints related to accommodation, ticketing, and accreditation.
• Deploy team activations that enhance engagement and elevate the competition experience
