About Our Client
For our client, a globally operating life sciences company with a strong presence in Switzerland and Asia-Pacific, we are looking for a Senior Controlling Specialist – IP & Inventory Management (m/f/d). The organisation is known for advancing medical innovation through state-of-the-art financial processes and a collaborative, international team culture with operations spanning multiple continents and a finance function that drives strategic decision-making at the highest level.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive month-end closing activities across Accounting Standards, Consolidation, Manufacturing, Transfer Pricing, Tax, and Cost of Sales & Inventory
- Oversee inventory accuracy at period-end in close collaboration with the Cost of Sales and Inventory team, ensuring reliable financial data
- Manage statutory and tax ledgers and prepare annual reports in line with Swiss GAAP and Singapore IFRS requirements
- Ensure compliance with internal control standards (S404), including documentation and continuous improvement of controls across Inventory, AtR, and OTC processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Tax, Treasury, and Global Delivery Operations in Lisbon and Kuala Lumpur
- Support Transfer Pricing processes to ensure accurate profitability adjustments for the Inventory Hub
- Participate in process automation and simplification projects, contributing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency across the finance function
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage account reconciliations using dedicated financial tools
Your Profile
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, combined with at least 8 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting and/or finance
- Deep expertise in US GAAP and Swiss GAAP, with a proven track record of applying these standards with precision and integrity
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA and advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); the ability to present complex financial topics clearly to senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across international, cross-functional teams
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities
