Social Media Specialist
to join our world headquarters in Châtel-St-Denis.
As a Social Media Specialist, you are a passionate expert in social media, content, and digital culture, responsible for defining and executing Laurastar’s global social media strategy across all platforms.
Working closely with the Global Communications Manager, you will drive the development of engaging, platform-specific content, manage the social media calendar, and ensure the performance and growth of Laurastar’s social media presence worldwide.
You will supervise the Content Creator role and coordinate the production of relevant content aligned with Laurastar’s brand positioning, maximizing the brand’s impact and visibility. The position also includes performance analysis, social listening, and paid amplification strategies using Sprout Social, among other tools.
Main role:
- Define and implement Laurastar’s global social media strategy and platform specific content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- Build, manage and maintain the global social media calendar.
- Prepare creative briefs for the Content Creator including insights, audience cohorts, concepts, intentions and scripts to drive relevancy.
- Supervise and guide the Content Creator in the production of social media content.
- Monitor and analyse social media performance using Sprout Social and native tools to identify what drives reach, attention and engagement, and inform future content decisions.
- Identify and collaborate with external content creators and influencers.
- Define and execute boost strategies and develop paid creatives based on top performing organic content, to maximise reach and engagement among key audiences.
- Identify trends and opportunities across social platforms, creators and culture, supported by social listening, to reinforce Laurastar’s social media leadership.
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in content creation, market insights, performance analysis and workflow optimisation.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong ability to stay ahead of social and content trends and a strategic mindset for using social platforms as a source of content and market insights.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management for a brand or agency and proven experience managing multiple social media platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in social media performance analysis and management tools such as Sprout Social.
- Strong experience working with content creators and influencers.
- Solid understanding of paid social amplification strategies.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for content generation, optimisation and productivity, with curiosity to explore new solutions.
- French and English with strong verbal and written communication skills. German is a plus.

- Strong sensitivity to fashion, design, home and lifestyle, aligned with Laurastar’s premium brand universe.
- Very good communication, presentation and analytical skills.

- Confident and influential, able to challenge ideas, guide creators and uphold strong brand standards.
- Collaborative and positive, comfortable working with different teams and guiding others.
