Role Overview
This operational role will manage a broad spectrum of accounting, administrative, and company management tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. It requires excellent understanding of accounting principles and operations from maintaining daily transactions to preparation of various reports, annual financial statements and consequent audit, tax and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Accounting & Reporting
- Process day-to-day accounting operations/transactions for a portfolio of entities established in various jurisdictions: invoice booking, payments, bank reconciliations, AP/AR postings, various contracts, any other business-related operations.
- Maintain ledgers and journals with precision, ensuring full documentation and proper coding. Good understanding of ledgers and subledgers concepts, managing databases with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Prepare regular (monthly, quarterly, annual) close activities: trial balance, account reconciliations, ensuring the data quality of accounting records.
- Reporting preparation – extract data and support with the preparation of various accounting reports for both internal management purposes and according to the requirements of various accounting frameworks (Swiss GAAP/CO, IFRS, US GAAP, etc.)
- Analysis of financial data and accounts – assist in analysing financial reports and documents, prepare summary reports and liaise with management on identified issues.
2. Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure orderly documentation and archiving of client data and financial records.
- Support audit preparation: liaise with auditors, supply schedules, and assist during fieldwork.
- Adhere to the applicable reporting frameworks in accordance to the local accounting and statutory requirements
3. Administrative & Corporate Management
- Provide support with entity management: assist with company formations, statutory filings, other related company management tasks.
- Coordinate with banks, notaries, corporate agents, ensuring completeness of KYC, documentation, and accounting/corporate registry filings.
4. Client & Team Liaison
- Communicate professionally with external counterparties in relation to performed tasks.
- Collaborate internally with the Accounting Manager, Relationship Managers and Executive Management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent commerce background.
- Experience: 3–5 years in accounting or operational finance; fiduciary or corporate services background is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (WinEUR, SAP, Navision, other professional accounting software and tools).
- MS Office proficiency, advance Excel skills.
- Data management skills, experienced in handling large number of transactions in a timely and quality manner.
- Experienced in support of accounts preparation within various international jurisdictions and accounting frameworks.

- English – fluent
