For our client based in Geneva, we're looking for a senior finance leader responsible for shaping and executing the organisation's financial strategy and ensuring long?term financial sustainability in a mission?driven environment.

Description

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the following:

• Define and steer the organisation's financial direction, ensuring consistency with long?term strategic priorities.
• Supervise core financial activities, including reporting, control frameworks, compliance obligations, and external reviews.
• Modernise financial operations through improved systems, digital tools, and enhanced processes.
• Strengthen risk management practices and ensure robust governance across financial functions.
• Manage finance team
• Build constructive relationships with internal leaders, partners, and funding bodies on financial matters.
• Provide senior leadership with clear financial insight to support decision?making.

Profile

The candidates are expected to present the following:

• Advanced university degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a closely related discipline.
• Recognised professional credential in finance or accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Extensive senior?level experience in financial management (15y+) including several years in an executive finance leadership role.
• Previous international, multi?stakeholder, non?profit contexts
• Track record advising boards and executive teams, acting as a strategic partner on financial, operational, and organisational matters.
• English fluent, French as well much appreciated
