As a Decision Support Analyst, you will act as a key contributor to all Decision Support Activities of the Nespresso Group. You will help creating transparency and generating insights to support the decision-making and piloting of the Nespresso Group. Your activities will include the production and distribution of timely, accurate and relevant management reporting as well as the preparation of different ad-hoc analysis in coordination with financial co-pilots at HQ. You will also actively participate to the journey of bringing our BI capabilities to the next level in the area of controlling.

A Day in the Life of a Decision Support Analyst

  • Provide transparency on main business KPI's across the Nespresso Group via the establishment of regular financial and non-financial reports to Finance and General management
  • Consolidate and analyze input from controlling teams to understand the underlying drivers of business performance
  • Make sure all main financial variances are clearly explained and communicated to different levels of stakeholders, allowing the business to act towards improvements
  • Prepare monthly management presentations, as well as ad-hoc presentations for Market controlling and Nespresso/Nestlé Management Meetings
  • Propose pro-actively continuous improvements on the ways in which we generate insights and perform ad hoc analysis when additional deep-dives are needed on specific subjects, for both HQ and market controlling
  • Aggregate and consolidate input from controlling teams on short- and long-term planning processes (e.g. target setting, Nestlé's portfolio management tool ATLAS) when a global group view is needed
  • Work collaboratively with the NBS Hub to design and lead the creation of new financial performance dashboards and reports
  • Act as back-up for Decision Support Manager in all activities

What will make you successful

  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
  • Strong finance background with 3+ years' experience in Finance & Control, ideally in an international environment
  • Prior Nespresso or Nestlé Decision Support or controlling experience
  • Experience working with, and generating analysis across, the full P&L
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to cut through complex, big data sets to generate insights
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite (in particular very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Power BI experience is a plus)
  • Agile, pro-active & open-minded with ability to work with a broad network of people and functions within the organization, ability to adapt to changing environment
  • Curious with continuous-improvement mindset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong in stakeholder management
  • Fluent in English
