Are you our new team member who will support us as Executive Head Chef (80-100%) immediately or by arrangement?
You will work Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00 in an 80-100% role.
Our task menu
- Ensuring a high-quality and professional kitchen management, in consultation with the next superior
- Ongoing personal development through tailored training as well as information and experience exchange within the company and the industry
- Quality assurance: Increasing guest and employee satisfaction through daily small improvements to enhance profitability for the operation
- Creating / revising the quality standards of the kitchen area in collaboration with management and staff
- Internal training of management and employees
- Decision-making competencies according to consultation with the superior
- Professional leadership of the kitchen brigade
- Ensuring, implementing and complying with the prescribed occupational safety and hygiene guidelines as well as environmental management
- Planning, training, leading and qualifying employees
- Promoting team building and further development of employees
- Conducting briefings and debriefings as well as participating in team and management meetings
Your recipe for success
- Head Chef with a federal diploma
- Several years of experience in an equivalent or similar position
- At least 5 years of professional experience in large-scale kitchens
- At least 2 years of leadership experience
- Excellent cooking skills (classic & modern)
- Experience with catering / events
- Experience in business management areas such as costing, controlling
- Experience in product management as well as good MS Office skills
- Proven experience with recipe databases / menu planning tools
- Flawless oral and written German skills
- Good assertiveness and empathy in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Understanding of central guidelines and individual implementation (e.g. cooking according to recipe)
- Confident working with calculations, nutritional values, allergen labelling
- Ability to standardise while maintaining creativity
