Application Integration Engineer (M/F/X)

SEIC is a distributor of electrical energy and heat in six municipalities of the region, and its 75 employees are also active in the fields of energy efficiency, electrical installations, telematics, home automation and security solutions, and multimedia services through its participation in netplus.ch SA.

We are looking to strengthen our Commercial service

Your mission

We are seeking a person capable of designing, implementing and evolving the exchanges between our applications. You will work within a heterogeneous architecture composed of business solutions, databases and internal or cloud services, with the objective of making the flows reliable, traceable, secure and easy to operate.

Your responsibilities

• Analyse needs, map existing flows and identify dependencies between applications
• Design the target integration architecture and define standards, patterns and exchange contracts applicable to new interfaces
• Design, configure and evolve inter-application flows using middleware, ESB, EAI or iPaaS solutions and ETL or ELT processes
• Implement and maintain REST or SOAP APIs, webhooks, message exchanges and structured file transfers such as JSON, XML or CSV
• Define mapping, transformation and validation rules, as well as error, rejection and recovery management
• Set up supervision, monitoring and alerts necessary to guarantee availability, performance and traceability of flows
• Design, implement and maintain a qualification environment separate from production, with datasets, interfaces and tools necessary for testing
• Prepare and execute integration and non-regression tests in this environment, formalise validation criteria, then coordinate deployments, migrations and stabilisation phases
• Analyse complex incidents from application logs and technical data, identify their causes and coordinate their resolution
• Maintain application mapping, interface catalogue, technical specifications and operating and recovery procedures
• Collaborate with business teams, IT, publishers and integrators, and contribute to the choice and evolution of integration solutions

Your profile

• Higher education HES, EPF or ES in computer science, software engineering, information systems, automation, or equivalent training
• Practical experience in application integration and implementation of flows within an environment composed of multiple systems
• Good knowledge of integration architectures and middleware, iPaaS, ETL or ELT solutions
• Mastery of REST or SOAP APIs, JSON, XML and CSV formats, as well as exchange mechanisms by files, messages or events
• Good command of SQL and relational databases; knowledge of several database engines is an asset
• Good understanding of exchange security issues, authentication, certificate management and data protection
• Ability to analyse an end-to-end flow, formalise a solution and produce clear and usable technical documentation
• Very good command of French, both spoken and written, and ability to work with technical documentation in English; German is an asset
• Analytical mind, rigour, autonomy, sense of priorities and ability to collaborate with business and technical interlocutors
