Accountant (M/F)

On behalf of our client, a recognised player in the pharmaceutical and chemical sector, we are looking for an Accountant to strengthen their Finance department.

In an industrial and international environment, you will actively participate in the site's financial processes, notably ensuring the monitoring of closures, investments, and reporting.

Your responsibilities

• Participate in the work of monthly and annual closing.
• Ensure the accounting and administrative monitoring of investments and fixed assets.
• Carry out the necessary checks and reconciliations to ensure the reliability of financial data.
• Participate in the preparation of financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyse various financial data and contribute to monitoring indicators.
• Collaborate with Management Control and the different departments of the site.
• Participate in internal controls and financial audits.
• Use SAP daily within the scope of Finance activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Finance processes and tools.

Your profile

• Training in Swiss accounting, finance or equivalent commercial training.
• Proven professional experience in a similar position.
• Experience in an industrial, pharmaceutical or chemical environment is a real asset.
• Very good command of SAP and Excel.
• Good knowledge of closing processes and financial reporting.
• Fluent French and good level of professional English.
• German is a plus.
