Do you want to not only manage master data but actively shape its future? In this key role, you take responsibility for the further development of our master data management in the SAP environment. You work at the interface between business and IT, lead or support projects, and ensure that our master data processes are efficient, standardised, and future-oriented.
With your solid SAP expertise, your understanding of business processes, and your experience in master data management, you contribute significantly to data quality and the further development of our system landscape.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for data governance and ensuring high quality of our product and material master data
- Further development and optimisation of master data processes in the SAP environment
- Technical support and continuous development of SAP MDG
- Analysis, conception, and implementation of new requirements together with business units and IT
- Leadership or sub-project management of master data, SAP, and transformation projects
- Definition, documentation, and harmonisation of processes, guidelines, and standards in master data management
- Maintenance and updating of product master data in SAP, including management of GTIN and RCN as well as handling of block lists and article blocking
- Close collaboration with internal business units, external partners, and SAP specialists
- Support and advice to business stakeholders on all questions related to master data and SAP processes
- Support of the SDM Business team in daily operations within the scope of delegated competencies
Your profile
- Completed studies or further education in business administration, business informatics, supply chain management, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in master data management
- Solid practical experience with SAP MDG
- Very good knowledge of SAP MM and a good understanding of adjacent processes and modules (PP, SD)
- Experience in leading or sub-project managing SAP, master data, or transformation projects
- Strong understanding of business processes and SAP system landscapes
- Ability to analyse requirements from business units and implement them together with IT
- Experience with data migrations, data quality management, and process optimisations is an advantage
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; English and French skills are an advantage
