As Head of Plant Construction Gas, Water & Heat, you take responsibility for an infrastructure that secures the daily lives of thousands of people. You lead your team, manage demanding construction projects and actively shape the energy and heat supply of tomorrow.
These are your tasks
Lead and develop the team: You lead the Plant Construction Gas, Water & Heat department professionally, organisationally and personally. You specifically promote your team and create the foundation for successful collaboration.
Manage projects: You plan and control new construction, renewal and expansion projects of our gas, water and heat networks as well as the associated facilities. You always have costs, deadlines, quality, occupational safety and resources under control.
Coordinate partners: You work closely with authorities, planning offices, clients, contractors, suppliers as well as regional and supra-regional network operators and maintain a strong network.
Contribute expertise: You advise internal stakeholders on questions regarding public procurement law, contract management as well as relevant standards and guidelines.
Shape the future: You participate in major projects, technical expert committees and working groups, further develop processes and contribute your experience in project portfolio management.
Manage finances: You are responsible for the department budget as well as long-term planning and ensure economical use of resources.

This is what you bring
- University degree as a civil engineer (FH, ETH or equivalent)
- Several years of experience in construction project management and team leadership
- Experience in client representation is an advantage
- Knowledge of public procurement law as well as relevant Swiss standards and guidelines (SIA, VSS, SVGW etc.)
- Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking combined with a strong solution and service orientation
- Negotiation skills as well as pronounced coordination and planning talent
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
