From 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for reinforcement for our centrally organised payroll department due to succession planning following retirement.
What you will achieve
- You will take over the end-to-end processing of payroll for several public limited companies in SAP HCM. In addition, you ensure the correct maintenance and updating of master data in the relevant infotypes and are the first point of contact for regional HR specialists, managers and employees on all payroll, time and social insurance-related matters.
- You are responsible for the correct handling of withholding tax and social insurances (changes, billing, declarations) as well as the checking and validation of accident and sickness certificates and act as the interface to external bodies.
- You create evaluations and reports, analyse key figures and support time management.
- You take over the monthly personnel account reconciliations and are responsible for the year-end processes, especially the electronic wage notifications (ELM) to the relevant authorities.
- You contribute to identifying and implementing optimisation potential in processes and systems and support corresponding automation initiatives.
What makes your start easier
- You bring several years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing and have sound knowledge of social insurances and withholding tax. Further training in this area is an advantage.
- You have a high IT affinity, are confident in complex system landscapes and have very good user knowledge of SAP HCM.
- You communicate fluently in German and have good French skills. Additional languages are a plus.
- You think analytically, can create complex evaluations and ad-hoc queries, have very good Excel skills and experience in process optimisation.
- You see yourself as a service-oriented contact person, keep an overview even in demanding situations and enjoy working in a structured, precise and very independent manner.
