Technical Presales - ICT Solutions (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to combine technical depth with customer contact and business understanding? In this role, you operate at the interface between sales and engineering and accompany customers throughout the entire solution cycle - from the initial needs assessment to the successful implementation of complex IT infrastructures. You develop customised solution concepts, translate customer requirements into technical architectures, and actively contribute to realising sustainable IT services.
Responsibilities:
Support and expansion of existing customer relationships as well as assistance in acquiring new customers
Technical consulting of customers including workshops, presentations, and offer preparation
Analysis of IT infrastructures and development of suitable solution concepts
Creation of architecture and implementation designs
Support of engineering teams in ongoing customer projects
Close collaboration with sales, project management, and technical teams
Monitoring market and technology trends in infrastructure, security, and modern workplace
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science or have a comparable technical background
You bring several years of experience as a system engineer or in technical sales
You have good knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures, virtualisation, and network technologies
Ideally, you have experience with backup, archiving, or VTL technologies as well as IT security topics
You think customer-oriented, analytically, and find pragmatic, viable solutions
You present yourself confidently and enjoy direct customer contact and presentations
You work independently, structured, and take responsibility for your topics
You speak fluent German; any additional language is an advantage
