Construction Police Officer at 80%

The Municipality of Avenches is advertising the position of

You manage citizens' work requests, follow the files through to the issuance of the building or habitation permit. You are one of the direct contacts for the population of Avenches in a unique historic built environment context.

Your tasks:

Within the Construction Police and under the aegis of the Technical Service, your main duties will be as follows:

• Process Construction Police files,
• Support owners, agents or architects in their procedures and inform them about the applicable rules.
• Consult Cantonal Services or the Municipal Land Use Planning Commission,
• Prepare files for municipal decision-making,
• Manage municipal subsidies related to constructions (ECOBONUS),
• Update cantonal (RcBat) or municipal (Edilio) registers,

Required profile and qualifications:

• Training related to the role or experience in construction policing.
• AEAI certification is an advantage,
• Ability to work with laws and regulations,
• Analytical and synthesis skills,
• Sensitivity to heritage protection,
• Organisational skills and sense of responsibility,
• Good writing skills in French,
• Another language is an asset,
• Holder of a category B driving licence,
