For our client, an established company in the architecture and planning sector in the Bern region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed HR and Financial Accounting Specialist 80–100%. In this responsible position, you will take on a wide range of tasks with a great deal of personal responsibility and actively shape administrative and financial processes. You can expect a modern working environment with short decision-making paths and an open team culture.
Your tasks with the new employer
- You will independently manage the entire personnel administration throughout the complete HR lifecycle as well as the monthly payroll processing including social insurances and withholding tax
- You will reliably handle financial accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payment transactions and prepare VAT returns as well as quarterly and annual financial statements
- You will support and advise management on administrative, personnel and financial matters and coordinate communication with external stakeholders
- You will continuously optimise administrative processes and take on the professional and personnel leadership of a small administration team
You offer your new employer
- You have completed a commercial basic education with further training in HR and/or finance and accounting
- You have several years of professional experience as a generalist in HR and finance or in fiduciary services and ideally some initial leadership experience
- You have very good German skills as well as confident use of Microsoft 365 and ideally experience in a Mac environment
- You are a discreet, resilient and highly organised personality with a high degree of initiative, sense of responsibility and a structured way of working
