About the job
Anyone who wants to sustainably improve occupational safety must know the working environment! As a Specialist in Occupational Safety Networks, you are active where work is done, supporting managers and employees in the Networks business area in implementing occupational safety and health protection, and assisting the Head of Occupational Safety with professional support for the organisation as well as deputising. With your presence on site, you identify risks early and ensure that our safety standards are effectively implemented in everyday work. The insights gained are incorporated into safety measures and the continuous development of our safety system. We offer you the ideal mix of personal responsibility, team spirit, and a future-proof environment. Secure your next career step. We look forward to your application.
What to expect
- You competently advise and support line managers and employees in the Networks business area in all matters of occupational safety and health protection.
- You plan, accompany, and document inspections, site controls, and workplace discussions in a structured manner so that results and measures are always traceable.
- You actively participate in hazard assessments, record findings precisely, and consistently follow up on agreed measures until implementation.
- You are committed to supporting the investigation of work accidents and near misses and jointly derive effective improvement measures and prevention campaigns.
- You carefully prepare internal and external inspections, for example by Suva or ESTI, and take on defined tasks in the absence of the Head of Occupational Safety as their deputy.
What you bring
- You have a basic technical education EFZ, preferably in the area of networks, energy supply, or network construction. Technical further training at the professional examination level with a federal certificate of competence, for example as a network specialist, is an advantage.
- Training as a safety assistant ASGS or willingness to complete this training.
- Several years of practical experience in occupational safety and health protection as well as sound knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines characterise your professional profile.
- You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner and are committed to a sustainable safety culture in the company with conviction.
- With your communication skills and enthusiasm, you convey safety-relevant topics appropriately to the target audience and present yourself confidently and convincingly to managers and employees.
- Proficient MS Office skills and confident German language skills in spoken and written form complete your qualification profile.
