On behalf of our client, an industrial company in the Bern region, we are looking to hire an accountant 70-100% by arrangement. Your tasks with the new employer

• You take responsibility for ongoing financial accounting and ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• You independently handle debtor, creditor, and VAT processes and ensure smooth payment transactions
• As a contact person, you support internal departments with accounting-related questions and contribute to high data quality
• You actively contribute to the optimisation of processes and systems and participate in cross-departmental projects

You offer your new employer

• In addition to commercial basic training, you have successfully completed further training as a specialist in finance and accounting (or comparable further training)
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting as well as sound knowledge of the closing process enable you to work independently
• You communicate fluently in German, and you are proficient in ERP systems and MS Office applications, especially Excel
• You gladly take on responsibility, think proactively, and actively contribute to the team with initiative and an eye for efficient processes
