The Sarine Regional Association, ARS, is an association that brings together all the municipalities that make up the Sarine district. Since its establishment on 30 June 2022, it has set itself the mission of uniting the municipalities around common objectives of regional scope, particularly in the field of spatial planning and tourism. In this respect, the association develops its own visions in its areas of expertise and implements at the regional level the strategies outlined at the cantonal level.

Your main tasks consist of:

• Supporting the team in the finalisation of the Regional Master Plan (PDR-Sarine);
• Actively contributing to the implementation of the agglomeration project and the PDR-Sarine;
• Assisting in the realisation of various projects, notably in the field of soft mobility and its promotion;
• Helping members of the administrative team prepare arguments, technical and decision-making materials;
• Creating or updating maps using common cartographic tools;
• Updating various websites related to the activities of the regional association;
• Supporting the organisation and conduct of meetings: invitations, taking minutes, preparing meeting materials, etc.;

Requirements:

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in geography, or you have an equivalent university diploma in the field of Human Sciences. You have an interest in issues related to territorial development. You are proficient with common IT tools, cartographic tools such as QGis, and ideally have some knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator). You have a synthetic mind, are flexible and autonomous. You possess excellent organisational and writing skills.

You know how to integrate and collaborate within a small multidisciplinary team. You have good oral and written expression skills in French; knowledge of German is an advantage. The internship position is offered for a renewable period of six months (maximum duration of one year) starting 1 October 2026. It is a paid internship with the possibility of partial remote work.
