As a Senior Consultant in the Tech M&A cohort of our Deal
Transformation practice, you
will support corporate and private equity clients in understanding the
technology dimension of their most important transactions. Technology has
become one of the defining value drivers in M&A—it shapes deal theses,
influences valuation, creates integration and separation complexity, and
ultimately determines how value is protected and delivered after close. With AI
accelerating change across industries, you will help clients assess technology
opportunities, risks and disruption while supporting informed deal decisions
and long-term value creation.
How you will make an
impact
- Technology
due diligence: Assess technology landscapes, applications, infrastructure, cloud,
data, cybersecurity, operating models and technology spend to identify
transaction risks and opportunities. - Technology
integrations and carve-outs: Support technology separation and integration
planning, including Day 1 readiness, TSA considerations, target-state design
and implementation planning. - Technology
strategy and value creation: Analyse technology strategy, AI impact, operating
model improvements and value creation opportunities across the transaction
lifecycle. - Technology
cost and synergy analysis: Support technology cost assessments, synergy
analysis and investment planning while working closely with financial and
commercial deal teams. - Client
delivery: Translate complex technology findings into clear analyses and
executive-ready recommendations while collaborating with multidisciplinary deal
team
Who we are looking
for
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in
technology, M&A and value creation; curiosity for emerging
technologies. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving
capabilities, with the ability to simplify complex technology topics. - Bachelor's or Master's degree from a leading
university. - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in
M&A, technology strategy, technology transformation, transaction
advisory or a related industry role. - Strong acumen for project and stakeholder
management with paired with high-quality skills in Excel, PowerPoint and
executive storytelling. Fluency in English. German and/or French is desired.

The Tech M&A team cohort within our Swiss
Deal Transformation practice advises clients on the technology dimension of Mergers & Acquisitions,
Divestitures, Carve-outs and Integrations. As part of Deloitte's end-to-end
M&A advisory offering, we work closely with colleagues from Transaction
Services, Valuations, Corporate Finance, Commercial, Strategy, Cyber, AI &
Data and broader Transformation teams to provide clients with an integrated,
value-driven approach to transactions.
You will gain exposure
to high-profile transactions across industries where technology increasingly
determines value, risk and execution success. Working alongside
multidisciplinary teams, you will help clients navigate complex technology
decisions throughout the deal lifecycle while developing deep expertise at the
intersection of technology and M&A.
