On behalf of one of our clients, a well-established fiduciary in the canton of Geneva, we are looking for a Senior Accountant in fiduciary at 80-100% to strengthen their accounting team.

Your tasks with your new employer

• Independently ensure the accounting follow-up of a portfolio of companies and self-employed individuals
• Take charge of routine accounting work up to the preparation of closures
• Prepare annual accounts in accordance with current Swiss standards
• Prepare VAT returns as well as tax declarations for individuals and legal entities
• Participate in payroll management and social insurance procedures
• Prepare documents necessary for audits and ensure communication with auditors
• Be the primary contact for clients regarding their accounting, tax and administrative questions
• Ensure deadline monitoring and proper administrative management of mandates
• Depending on your background, support and supervise more junior colleagues

You offer your new employer

• Higher education in accounting/finance, ideally complemented by a federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting or fiduciary agent
• At least 5 years of experience gained within a fiduciary in Switzerland
• Very good knowledge of Swiss accounting and current tax obligations
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written, and a good level of English, minimum B2
• You are autonomous and enjoy managing your files from A to Z
• You demonstrate rigour and an excellent sense of organisation
