Team Leader of the Dietetics Service / 80% / Fixed-term contract (8 months)
The Nutrition and Dietetics Centre aims to contribute to the maintenance at home of the Geneva population by promoting their nutritional health. It consists of two complementary services, the nutrition service (home meal delivery) and the dietetics service.
The dietetics service is made up of a team of dietitians and an administrative assistant who operate throughout the canton of Geneva. They carry out dietetic consultations at home on medical prescription, as well as prevention and health promotion actions. They also supervise the offer and quality of IMAD meals.
As part of the maternity leave replacement of the current post holder, reporting to the director of the Nutrition and Dietetics Centre, the dietetics service manager will assume responsibility for the dietetics service.
Your missions and responsibilities
- As interim team leader of the dietetics service, you ensure the management, coordination, and supervision of the activities of the dietitians as well as the administrative assistant of the service. You oversee the evaluation, adequacy, and quality of services provided to beneficiaries, the follow-up of interventions, and associated billing, under delegation from the director of the Nutrition and Dietetics Centre. You guarantee human resources management in accordance with institutional policies and the applicable legal framework.
- You promote coordination with care teams and health-social network partners to strengthen prevention, detection, evaluation, and monitoring of risks related to nutritional health. You contribute to the continuous development of skills, the enhancement, and the promotion of home dietetic expertise, in collaboration with the relevant internal actors. You work closely with the heads of the nutrition service to ensure coherence and continuous improvement of the Nutrition and Dietetics Centre's services, while participating in project implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics or equivalent training
- Previous managerial experience is a significant asset
- Good knowledge of the Geneva network
- Cantonal practice licence
- Certificate of two years’ practical activity at 100% under the responsibility of an accredited dietitian (art. 50a, para. 1, let. b of the OAMal) – an asset
- Proven experience in clinical nutrition, with elderly and/or chronically ill patients is an asset
- Experience in project management
- Good conceptual and writing analytical skills
- Committed and motivated person
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy and good administrative management
