Halter is consistently expanding its presence in Southern Switzerland. The basis for this is already acquired projects that we want to successfully realise together with strong local partners. For the establishment and responsibility of the Total Services business unit in Southern Switzerland, we are looking for an entrepreneurial personality who knows the Ticino construction and real estate market very well, is excellently networked, and wants to achieve something.
As Head of Total Services Southern Switzerland, you will have the opportunity to help shape and develop our regional business unit in the long term. You will build a capable local team and position Halter in the market. In doing so, you combine your experience in the realisation of demanding construction projects with your local roots, your network, and your instinct for new business opportunities.
Your area of responsibility
- Entrepreneurial leadership and development of the Total Services business unit in Southern Switzerland with result and leadership responsibility
- Responsibility for the successful realisation of already acquired as well as new projects
- Building and leading a capable local team, especially in the execution area
- Building and further developing a strong network of contractors, planners, and other implementation partners
- Overall management of demanding new construction, conversion, and renovation projects together with the project teams
- Development of a sustainable project and business pipeline as well as acquisition of new projects and clients
- Building long-term relationships with owners, investors, and relevant clients
- Maintaining a reliable network with authorities, politics, planners, specialists, and especially implementation partners (contractors, producers, etc.)
- Representing Halter in the Ticino construction and real estate market as well as in the economic and social environment
- Close collaboration with the CEO and Halter’s central competencies
What you bring
- Sound knowledge of the Ticino construction and real estate market from personal experience as well as a reliable network of relevant market participants, especially local contractors, planners, and other implementation partners
- Experience in entrepreneurial or executive responsibility or demonstrable potential to assume such responsibility
- Comprehensive knowledge of planning, approval, and especially execution processes and experience in the successful realisation of complex construction projects regarding quality, costs, and deadlines
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, high initiative, and willingness to pursue ambitious goals and be measured by results
- Instinct for new business opportunities and the ability to develop new projects and long-term business relationships from existing networks and market knowledge
- Convincing personality with negotiation skills, decisiveness, and the ability to build trust, win the team for ambitious goals, and lead it
- Relevant professional background as well as business fluent Italian and good German skills
