Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer (m/f/d)

What to expect

Together with our Collaboration and Communication team, you will actively shape the future of work at Mobiliar. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible, together with the Horizon team, for the technical development, governance, and secure operation of Microsoft 365 including Copilot within the Microsoft 365 platform.

As an experienced engineer, you take responsibility beyond team boundaries, drive innovation forward, and ensure that modern AI technologies are used safely, sustainably, and with added value for our employees.

Your impact with us

You take responsibility for the further development and secure operation of Microsoft 365 services. You analyse new features, especially M365 Copilot, assess their benefits and risks, and derive standards, governance requirements, and technical guardrails. You work implementation-oriented, keep dependencies in view, and ensure stability, quality, and sustainable lifecycle management. You set priorities and provide clear decision-making bases.

You advise product owners, product managers, business units, and managers on the introduction and use of Microsoft 365 solutions. Additionally, you identify technical debt, risks, and optimisation potentials, initiate appropriate measures, and further develop operational processes, monitoring, and automations. Together with security, architecture, and platform teams, you ensure secure, scalable, and efficient operations and bring together different perspectives.

You actively contribute your expertise to the team and organisation. In exchange with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and manufacturers, you represent your field and support architecture and technology decisions. You coach team colleagues and help ensure that the team learns from each other and develops sustainable solutions for Mobiliar together.

Your profile

• University degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable education and training
• Several years of experience as an engineer, DevSecOps engineer, or solution architect in the Microsoft cloud environment, especially with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Copilot
• Experience in operating business-critical platforms and services
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Copilot, large language models (LLMs), AI governance, and prompt engineering
• Experience with Microsoft tenant management, cloud platforms, automation, and software as a service with a focus on security and compliance
• Knowledge of Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI services, or related technologies is a plus
• High initiative, networked thinking, and a solution- and implementation-oriented working style
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility, driving change, and empowering others
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
