As a Mechanical Engineer, you play a central role in the mechanical design and optimisation of our innovative injection systems. With your technical understanding, structured working method, and ability to assess complex interrelations, you make an important contribution to the reliable and safe function of our medical technology products.

Workplace: Burgdorf | Hybrid

Your main tasks

• Planning and execution of product development tasks according to internal guidelines and processes
• Supporting the Technical Leader in variant projects and participating in the evaluation of technical variants
• Organisation, execution and evaluation of verifications as well as general tests
• Definition of design optimisations considering plastic-compatible construction
• Planning, execution and assessment of technical analyses and calculations
• Design responsibility: ensuring compliance with design specifications for products on the market
• Coordination of the implementation of product changes on the market as well as root cause analysis of system problems (from manufacturing process or complaints)
• Creation of technical documentation during the development process and in the product management phase according to internal specifications

Your profile

• Completed education as an engineer HF/FH in mechanical engineering, plastics or microtechnology
• Ideally experience in medical technology and injection moulding technology
• Industry experience, especially in the development of mass products, is an advantage
• Experience in creating technical documents is an advantage
• Good English skills (C1) spoken and written; fluent German (C1)
