Systems & Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)
Keeping complex IT systems running requires real expertise and absolute reliability. Our Rocken partner specialises in holistic IT services for corporate clients and offers customised solutions for the entire IT infrastructure. Individual customer care is paramount here. The scope of activities includes planning, implementation, and support of modern IT environments – from infrastructure through cloud integration to endpoint management solutions. You work closely with customers, develop tailored concepts, and ensure that IT systems function smoothly. You support IT infrastructure projects and implement virtual and highly available environments with modern technologies.
You install, configure, and maintain customer systems and provide support in 2nd and 3rd level support.
You carry out migrations in Microsoft 365 / Office 365 as well as in cloud environments.
You monitor managed services and customer systems, analyse faults, and perform targeted troubleshooting.
You work with NetApp, HPE, SonicWall, VMware, Veeam, and Microsoft and support the continuous optimisation of existing IT infrastructures.
Qualifications:
You have a completed IT education and several years of professional experience in the IT provider or managed services environment.
You bring solid knowledge in Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, GPO, Exchange, Windows as well as in the client/server environment.
You have practical experience with VMware, Veeam and virtualisation as well as a good understanding of the OSI model.
Knowledge of NetApp, HPE and Linux is an advantage.
You work independently, solution-oriented, and customer-focused and have native-level German as well as good English skills.
