Subsidy Managers for the OVAM Branch (70% to 100%)

The OVAM branch in Lausanne is responsible for examining health insurance subsidy applications from Lausanne residents and issuing the corresponding decisions. It carries out this mission in collaboration with the subsidy team of the Lausanne social insurance agency, thus directly contributing to the reduction of health insurance premiums for the inhabitants of the City of Lausanne.

Main Mission(s)

Analyse the family situations of persons applying for health insurance subsidies, on behalf of OVAM (Vaud Office of Health Insurance)

Calculate entitlements, ensure the consistency of decisions, and order the payment of subsidies to the various insurers in the canton

Handle correspondence and administrative tasks of the sector

Work closely with the subsidy team of the Social Insurance Agency, as well as with all the various municipal and cantonal service providers

Profile

Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent qualification

Professional experience in the field of social insurance or as a tax assessor.

Additional training as a generalist in social insurance is an asset

Knowledge of the health insurance field and the Vaud social system in general is an asset

Sense of responsibility and team spirit

Proficiency in MS Office tools
