As Head of the Business Unit Construction & Steel Industry, you are responsible for a significant business area with strategically important customers and actively shape its further development. What you can achieve.

• Together with your team of 8 employees, you are responsible for strategically important key accounts and a business volume of around CHF 180 million.
• You develop existing customer relationships in the long term, identify new business opportunities, and win customers for suitable transport solutions.
• With a good sense of the market, customers, and economic contexts, you continuously develop the Business Unit and its market approach.
• In important customer and contract negotiations, you bring together different interests and find economically viable solutions.
• As a leader, you provide guidance, set clear priorities, and create an environment where personal responsibility and collaboration are lived.
• Both internally and externally, you maintain an open and constructive exchange and bring the relevant partners together.

What you bring with you.

• With your engaging and authentic manner, you build trust and meet customers, employees, and partners on equal terms.
• You gladly and reliably take on responsibility. Even in demanding situations, you keep an overview and find pragmatic solutions.
• Several years of leadership and/or sales experience in a comparable position as well as a convincing B2B background form the basis for this role.
• Ideally, you are already familiar with the freight transport, transport, logistics, construction, or steel industry environment and know the corresponding market mechanisms and customer needs.
• Your solid market and business understanding enables you to quickly grasp contexts and represent decisions comprehensibly.
• A university degree (Uni/FH) as well as business fluent German and good English and French skills (B1) complete your profile.
