Technical Officer for Sports Fields and Halls

Committed to quality public service, the City of La Chaux-de-Fonds is seeking a:

Your mission / You will carry out general maintenance work on sports facilities and their surroundings (football pitches, sports pavilion, stands, changing rooms, cross-country ski tracks, etc.). During the summer period, you will mow and maintain the grass sports fields. In winter, you will also be responsible for marking and maintaining the cross-country ski tracks. You will also contribute to the organisation of various sporting events by providing the necessary logistical support for their smooth running.

Your profile / Personal skills / With a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a technical building or earth-related trade, or an equivalent qualification, you have initial experience in the technical maintenance of infrastructure. Physically fit, you enjoy working outdoors throughout the year. You hold a category B driving licence and are comfortable with basic computer tools. Organised, meticulous and autonomous, you have a strong sense of public service and enjoy working as part of a team. You are willing to work occasionally irregular hours, particularly during sporting events.

Desired start date / 1st March 2027 or by agreement.
