Production and Logistics Operator

Lamineries MATTHEY is a company of the Notz Metall AG group and is located in La Neuveville (BE). It has undoubtedly been one of the world leaders in the metallurgical field of high-precision cold rolling for 125 years.

We produce customised precision metal strips in a wide range of alloys for customers worldwide, active in demanding sectors such as high-end watchmaking, advanced connectivity, automotive, aerospace, and precision mechanics.

As part of the strengthening of our Shipping & Stock department, we are looking for a:

Your tasks:

• Prepare and carry out the packaging and packing of products intended for shipment.
• Perform straightening, cutting into sheets, and coiling of ferrous and non-ferrous metal strips.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment. Ensure identification and traceability of rolls in accordance with quality guidelines.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement by proposing ideas to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
• Occasional replacement of the shipping foreman.

Your profile:

• Training as a logistician and/or experience in an industrial environment.
• Good aptitude for operating production machines.
• Forklift licence.
• Native French speaker or C1 level (spoken and written); knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience in using ERP systems and MS Office.
• Sensitivity to quality control and self-inspection.
• Versatility and willingness to learn to operate different equipment.
• A reliable, autonomous, and precise person.
