Catering Employee – Permanent Contract – Grade 5

The Prendre Soin et Accompagner Residences (RPSA) are closely linked to the Geneva State Occupational Pension Fund (CPEG) as it is their shareholder and property owner. Through a private law foundation and a limited liability company (Sàrl), both non-profit, RPSA's mission is to operate buildings for elderly people and to offer services adapted to their level of autonomy and security needs.

To complete our teams, we are recruiting a:

Job description:

• Ensure breakfast service in the dining room according to basic table service techniques.
• Ensure meal service (lunch and dinner) in the dining room according to basic table service techniques.
• Ensure service at the cafeteria according to basic service techniques.
• Respect hygiene measures and action protocols in force within the Institution.
• Demonstrate respect, listening and empathy without judgement towards the Resident and their family.
• Create and promote a good working atmosphere within the team and the Institution in general.
• Show flexibility and mutual support within the team and the Institution in general.
• Be able to adapt and develop.
• Welcome, support and integrate auxiliary staff.

Profile sought:

• AFP catering employee qualification an advantage;
• 5 years practical experience, ideally in the elderly care sector;
• Spoken and written French;
• Basic knowledge of hygiene in a hospital environment desired;
• Sense of respect with excellent interpersonal skills;
• Initiative, autonomy, good priority management and impeccable presentation;
• Reliable person with a strong team spirit;
• Experience in the health sector and/or Geneva cantonal administration an advantage.
