General Director of Verbier Sports Centre (CEO)

In Verbier, at the heart of a world-renowned alpine destination, a new place dedicated to sport, well-being and leisure is taking shape.
Led by the Municipality of Val de Bagnes, the Verbier Sports Centre is an ambitious project, designed as a true hub of life, meeting and experiences, serving both the local population and the many visitors to the destination.
Currently in its second phase of construction and development, the Centre brings together a multi-sports hall, tennis and padel courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, wellness, fitness, seminar spaces and catering services.
Intended for a wide variety of audiences, the Centre will continue its ambition to become an iconic facility of Val de Bagnes and contribute to the attractiveness of the destination throughout the year.

The new Verbier Sports Centre

is recruiting its future

As CEO, you will take the helm of an ambitious project in full development.

• You make the final decisions, commercial orientations and build the organisation of the 2nd phase; you contribute to the development of the 3rd phase
• You develop the strategy and annual plans of the Sports Centre
• You manage and lead operational, HR, financial aspects, as well as investments
• You maintain and develop relationships with local users (schools, associations, residents), second-home owners, tenants and partners of the Sports Centre
• You develop commercial activities and optimise the profitability of the Sports Centre, offering products and services aligned with the market
• You integrate the Sports Centre into the tourism, sports and institutional ecosystem of Val de Bagnes and contribute to the animation of the Region as a key player

Your profile:

• You hold a university or higher education degree (HEC, Law, Social Sciences or equivalent)
• You have proven experience in a role requiring commercial development aspects; general management experience is a plus
• You have solid experience in team management, financial and project management
• You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness
• You have a genuine sensitivity to the balance between "public mission" and "commercial development"
• You are proficient in French and English
