Exciting tasks await:

• You will lead the salary policy department and be the central expert and contact person for the cantonal remuneration system including its legal and systematic foundations, including advising and training HR professionals.
• You will conduct the annual salary round for cantonal staff, from planning through communication and implementation in SuccessFactors Compensation to reporting.
• You will organise and be responsible for the Persuisse salary comparison, the LOGIB pay equity analysis, as well as other Compensation & Benefits analyses and salary benchmarks.
• You will participate in the project "Revision of the cantonal staff salary system", develop expert inputs and foundations, and take co-responsibility for subprojects.
• You will respond to parliamentary initiatives, business matters and enquiries related to the department and further develop instruments, foundations, processes and systems of salary policy in line with the HR strategy.

What you bring:

• Bachelor with MAS or Master with CAS in Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management or a related field (business administration, psychology or other social sciences with a focus on human resources)
• Several years of professional experience in the C&B or Total Rewards area as well as experience with SuccessFactors Compensation
• High degree of independence and personal responsibility as well as the motivation to take on and drive topics forward
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented thinking and working style, combined with enjoyment of conceptual work and numbers
• Confident understanding of the political environment of public administration as well as the ability to prepare complex topics clearly and appropriately for the target audience

The Department of Finance and Resources with around 650 employees is a cross-sectional department responsible for ensuring that the canton has the necessary resources to fulfil its tasks.

The Human Resources Aargau division develops foundations for implementing a contemporary and socially responsible HR and salary policy for the employer Canton of Aargau. The focus is on shaping a modern working environment as well as further developing leadership tools to support operational HR work in the departments, the State Chancellery and the courts of Canton Aargau.
