About the job
The Inclusion and Local Social Actions Service offers the population of Lausanne a range of municipal aid services, including the addictions programme.
To strengthen the addictions programme, we are looking for a head of unit at 80%-100% who will be responsible for leading the street social team, while also performing the same tasks as the team, namely engaging with people in consumption situations to reduce socio-health risks by delivering prevention and harm reduction messages and directing the target population to existing services.

Main mission(s)
Lead the street social intervention team
Engage with people in consumption situations, establish a connection and guide them within the socio-health system
Contribute to reducing socio-health risks by raising awareness among the target population and collaborating with all network partners (security, health, social)
Help reduce nuisances in public spaces through a strict approach, inform about the necessity of using safe consumption spaces, the importance of living together and individual responsibility
Maintain links with the population and local businesses
Participate in reflection on optimising work and processes
Profile
Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences in Social Work, Human Sciences or Nursing, or an equivalent qualification
Team management training, required
Additional training in communication, conflict management and mediation
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in team or project management
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the field of addictions, severe precariousness and/or social work
Knowledge of the Lausanne socio-health system
Excellent ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and difficult conditions, as well as to manage tense situations
Easy contact, composure, maturity, team spirit, leadership
Good command of MS Office 365 tools
Excellent command of French, knowledge of another language is an asset

Work planned from Monday to Saturday
Flexible hours (ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays), according to service needs
