Technical Data Management Technician (M/F)
About the role
You will be involved in managing and ensuring the reliability of technical data used by production teams. You will work in collaboration with various internal departments as well as suppliers to guarantee reliable and up-to-date information.
This position will allow you to develop your knowledge of industrial processes and contribute to a major project to modernise management tools.
Tasks
The role focuses on the rigorous management of technical inventories and the optimisation of master data to prepare for the future deployment of advanced ERP solutions.
- Participate in equipment inventories at various sites and with suppliers.
- Update and control technical data to ensure its reliability.
- Verify the quality of data related to items and report any inconsistencies.
- Contribute to improving data management methods.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Support, and Infrastructure teams on various projects.
- Participate in the preparation for the future deployment of SAP S/4HANA.
- Make occasional trips to suppliers in Switzerland and France.
We are looking for
- Technician ES training in technical, logistics, production or equivalent
- Proven experience in data management
- Advanced proficiency in common IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent command of French, both written and spoken
- Analytical skills, autonomy and organisational rigour
An advantage if you have
- Good knowledge of an ERP, ideally SAP or SAP S/4HANA
- Good level of English (B2 level desired)
