Senior AI Engineer (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU DO

• You develop AI and ML applications, e.g. assistant solutions, automations, or forecasting models
• You independently implement features and services and bring them into production-near systems
• You develop and operate backend services, APIs, and integrations
• You integrate AI and ML functionalities into existing systems and processes
• You analyse existing solutions and models and improve them together with the team
• You work closely with the Solution Architect on architecture and technology decisions
• You support the establishment of deployment and operation processes (CI/CD, monitoring, logging)
• You evaluate use cases and implement pragmatic, feasible solutions
• You develop professionally and share your knowledge within the team

WHAT YOU BRING

• Several years of experience in software development (e.g. Python, APIs, system integration)
• Experience with AI or ML applications (e.g. LLMs, APIs, or classical models)
• Basic understanding of model training, evaluation, and data quality
• Initial experience with forecasting or interest in working in this area
• Experience with cloud technologies is an advantage (GCP preferred)
• Understanding of deployment, CI/CD, and production-near systems
• Ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new topics and take responsibility
• Structured, pragmatic working style with a focus on functioning solutions
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• You have confident German and good English skills
