For Tertianum Letzipark in the Zurich region, we are looking for a
Team Leader Kitchen & Production 100 %
In this operational key role, you take over the leadership of the kitchen team and, together with the cluster kitchen management, ensure the high-quality production for Tertianum Letzipark and the connected locations. In your role, you report to the Head of Hospitality.
Your tasks
- Operational responsibility for the kitchen area
- Leadership, deployment planning, development and training of employees in the entire kitchen area
- Organisation, coordination and ensuring timely production and delivery to the connected locations including quantity, quality and interface control
- Management of production quantities, control of goods costs as well as active reduction of overproduction and food waste
- Participation in menu planning as well as implementation and further development of recipes, production specifications and portion sizes
- Active work in the kitchen as well as continuous development of operational processes
- Implementation, monitoring and compliance with quality standards, HACCP concept, occupational safety guidelines, audit requirements
- Active management of the KVP process using the Kaizen tool
- Co-responsibility for goods purchasing, budget and controlling management, inventory as well as quality management
- Professional support and training of apprentices in the kitchen area
- Close professional cooperation with the cluster kitchen management and the managers of the supplied locations
- Ensuring smooth cooperation between F&B, Front Office, care and Head of Hospitality
- Close cooperation and direct reporting line to the Head of Hospitality
- Deputising during the absence of the Head of Hospitality (service and kitchen)
Your profile
- Several years of leadership experience in a comparable kitchen function, ideally in communal catering or a healthcare institution
- Completed advanced vocational training
- High service orientation and visible presence in the operational kitchen area
- Good MS Office skills and a strong affinity for digital kitchen, ordering and planning systems
- Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity as well as a high standard of quality and service
- Resilience, assertiveness and at the same time appreciative leadership style
- A positive, solution-oriented and humorous basic attitude
- Driving licence category B for vehicles with manual transmission is a prerequisite
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
