The mission of the Admissions Officer is to play a vital role in managing the end-to-end admissions process, from application submission to student enrolment. This role is responsible for evaluating candidate eligibility, ensuring timely communication with prospective students, and providing exceptional support throughout the admissions & enrollment journey. You will work closely with marketing, recruitment, financial aid, and operations teams to deliver a seamless and student-centered admissions experience. You will also ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of admissions operations through streamlined processes and robust data management, supporting informed decision-making and institutional goals.
What will you do?
- Review and assess student applications to determine eligibility based on academic and institutional criteria, and support admissions decision-making.
- Guide candidates through the admissions process, providing timely and accurate information on requirements, deadlines, and next steps, including participation in recruitment events when necessary.
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from prospective students via email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions data and records in institutional systems, ensuring compliance with data integrity standards.
- Provide real-time and accurate data on the admissions funnel to support forecasting, decision making, and planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment in messaging, outreach, scholarships, and candidate support, as well as the Academic Office to ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional policies.
- Coordinate with operations to support the smooth transition from admission to enrolment.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of admissions processes, tools, and candidate engagement strategies.
Who are you ?
- You have a CFC or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in management or a related field is a plus.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in admissions or administrative support roles; experience in an educational setting is a plus.
- You have proven experience in customer-facing roles.
- You have strong analytical skills and mastery of Microsoft Office tools.
- You are comfortable working with IT systems and are familiar with Admissions CRM tools.
- You have experience working in remote teams, which is considered an asset.
- You are service-oriented, detail-focused, and process-driven.
- You are fluent in French and English (C1 level); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
