To support our growth in Switzerland, we are looking for a consultant based in French-speaking Switzerland, canton of Vaud:
Electrical Engineer (M/F)
Within our electrical engineering team, the electrical engineer will be responsible for successfully carrying out electrical engineering activities related to various projects, in compliance with project requirements and railway electrical standards.
The role includes defining robust and reliable electrical solutions, managing changes, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and acting as the technical interface with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage changes to equipment such as electrical substation control panels and control, monitoring and supervision panels of electrical substations, in accordance with reference electrical specifications and the change request process
- Define robust, safe and reliable functional technical solutions
- Select electrical components according to the recommended parts list and project requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable railway standards, notably EN 50343
- Maintain close liaison with other departments (production, methods, system engineering, RAMS):
- Act as the technical interface with electrical equipment suppliers
- Support project activities through technical expertise and engineering coordination
Profile:
- Graduate of an engineering school in one of the following fields:
- Electrical engineering
- Electrotechnics
- Electromechanical engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in the electrical field within the railway sector
- Strong engineering background in the following areas:
- Electrical components
- Electrical product development
- Wiring
- Train electrical architectures
- Electrical systems and functions
- Experience with digital tools for electrical product development
- Good knowledge of tools:
- E3
- Ruplan
- ELSA
- Knowledge of the EN 50343 standard
- Rigor, autonomy, team spirit and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
