Operations Electrician (100%)

BrainServe SA is based near Lausanne, where its Tier IV certified data centre is among the best in Europe. The company offers high-end secure hosting services, primarily to banking institutions and IT providers. The data centre is notably equipped with its own electrical transformation station, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (NoBreaks), and a dual electrical distribution network.

To strengthen our technical team, we are looking for a

Your responsibilities:

• Compliance of installations according to OIBT
• Installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
• Keeping documentation up to date
• Planning and execution of maintenance and servicing work on electrical, cooling (production and distribution), physical security (access control, video surveillance, fire detection and extinguishing, water leak detection) and telecommunications infrastructures
• Measures to optimise infrastructures, particularly regarding energy efficiency

• Planning and carrying out installations and interventions on behalf of clients
• Planning, coordinating and supervising work carried out by external contractors
• Participation in special tasks and projects

• Participation in the on-call service

Your profile:

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrician or equivalent qualification in the relevant field or a diploma in industrial management
• 5 years of professional experience in technical operations
• Experience with high-power sensitive infrastructures
• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Programming on PLCs and experience with SCADA supervision software (assets)
• Holder of a connection authorisation under art. 13 OIBT (asset)
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Sense of responsibility, organisation and prioritisation
• Stress resistance
