In a context of growth and structuring of the activity, we are looking for a Head of BMS Department (M/F) capable of managing a department specialised in building automation and actively contributing to its development.
In a context of growth and structuring of the activity, we are looking for a Head of BMS Department (M/F) capable of managing project execution and supporting the development of a specialised technical team.
Responsibilities
As the true guarantor of the activity's performance, you ensure team management, project oversight, financial management of the department as well as the development of client relationships. As a manager, technical referent and administrator, you directly contribute to the growth and profitability of the activity.
You supervise a team of around 15 employees composed of technicians and project managers.
Team management and development
* Lead, unite and support a multidisciplinary team of around 15 employees
* Participate in recruitment, integration and skills development of the teams
* Define objectives, monitor performance and encourage professional development of employees
* Promote a culture of collaboration, commitment and operational excellence
Activity and project management
* Oversee all department projects, from contract acquisition to delivery
* Ensure resource planning and proper execution of services
* Guarantee compliance with quality, deadlines, costs and performance objectives
* Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Business development and client relations
* Support activity development in line with company strategy
* Participate in the preparation of offers and responses to tenders
* Develop and maintain lasting relationships with key clients and partners
* Identify growth opportunities and contribute to acquiring new contracts
Technical leadership
* Validate technical orientations and solutions proposed to clients
* Provide your expertise on complex issues related to BMS and regulation
* Ensure installations comply with current standards and regulations
* Maintain technical and technological watch on building automation systems
Financial management and performance
* Manage the economic performance and profitability of the department
* Monitor budgets and control financial results
* Analyse performance indicators and implement necessary corrective actions
* Provide regular reporting to management
Quality, safety and continuous improvement
* Deploy and enforce quality, safety and environmental procedures
* Establish and monitor activity performance indicators
* Identify areas for improvement and optimise internal processes
* Actively contribute to company steering committees
Candidate profile
* Higher technical education (HES Engineer, EPF, Master or equivalent) in building automation, energy or similar field
* Proven experience in managing technical teams as well as managing complex activities or projects
* Strong knowledge of BMS systems, regulation and building automation
* Good knowledge of protocols such as Bacnet, Modbus and M-Bus
* Experience with Schneider EBO is an asset
* Developed sense of leadership, organisation and financial management
* Ability to support the growth of an activity and unite teams around common goals
