Responsibilities:
- Planning, programming and commissioning of building automation systems
- Conducting functional tests and fault diagnostics
- Setting up and configuring PLC controls and other automation systems
- Integrating various trades such as lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning into building automation
- Programming interfaces and protocols for data communication between different systems
- Implementing customer-specific requirements and individual solutions
- Documenting completed work and preparing technical reports
Qualifications:
- Completed further education as a technician HF in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
- Several years of practical experience in building automation
- Solid knowledge in programming PLC controls (e.g. Siemens S7, Beckhoff TwinCAT)
- Good knowledge of common building automation systems and standards (e.g. KNX, BACnet)
- Understanding of electrical engineering contexts and building technology
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and team spirit
- Independent and structured working style
