In anticipation of the retirement of the current holder, the Infrastructure and Projects Unit of the City of Lausanne Sports Service is looking for its future head.

- lead the design or renovation projects of Lausanne's sports facilities while ensuring their accessibility, sustainability, architectural quality and safety,

- manage a small team of 2 to 3 people,

- and participate in the development of the City's sports offer

Main mission(s)

Lead and successfully complete construction projects in coordination with multidisciplinary teams

Lead the implementation of the sports component of the Métamorphose project as project manager and represent the service therein

Study possibilities for development, renovation or improvement of the existing property portfolio and manage any works while controlling the financial aspect

Represent the client within the framework of mandates entrusted to external contractors with partner services

Ensure the administrative, human and financial management of the Infrastructure and Projects Unit

Profile

University Master from EPFL or HES in architecture or civil engineering

Additional training in team or project management, desirable

5 years of experience in building construction in Switzerland

Proven experience in project management and managing a small team

Mastery of SIA standards and the Swiss contractual framework

Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

Level B2 in English and German desired

Special conditions

Driving licence (cat. B)

Clean criminal record

Occasional availability for irregular and unsocial hours (evenings or weekends)
